This is a dish made by Nishiyama Natsu, a ceramic artist at Mashiko ware.

As the name suggests, "Salmon Monster" suggests, a monster dressed as a sake cup with legs on its dishes is about to start moving, and it's a rather slurping, yet very adorable dish.

This shape is created by shaving off clay lumps like a sculpture using a knife or something similar. One of its charms is the shape and texture that are different from the pottery, and can only be created at that time.

Nishiyama has carefully selected clay and glaze materials to express the power that has been gained from this, including the season of the forest, the flow of the river, the majesticity of the mountains, and the expressions of nature.

We value the unique colors, textures and harmony created by the compatibility of clay and glazes and the baking, and incorporate the natural expressions created by these works into our works.

*Since each item is handmade, there may be slight distortions, size, and texture. Please note that the actual color may differ from the screen.
