This is the vessel of potter Kobayashi Yuichi.

Kobayashi is particular about Mashiko's soil and raw materials, which is the place for training, and is responsible for the timeless dishes that are full of the original charm of the ingredients.

The fact that they bake rice straw and rice husks and make their own ingredients can be seen as a careful and time-consuming product, without slacking off.

While mastering the traditional technique of "kon-hiki", in which white clay slurping is poured over the red clay and showing it as a white dish, it also uses a technique that he himself calls "weathered kon-hiki", which features a unique atmosphere that changes over time, like the plaster from the walls has peeled off.

This dish, which has been given the bounty of nature and brings out its charm, gives it a sturdy sense of security and comfort.
