Momo no Mikoto is a workshop located in Aterazawa, Oe Town, Yamagata Prefecture.

This workshop creates crafts that allow you to enjoy the beauty of natural sculpture using peach seeds, which is rare even in the country.

From Momo no Mikoto, we would like to introduce tea canisters and tea trays.

At first glance, is it made of wood or something? I think this is the texture, but if you look closely, you can see that there are a series of peach seeds.

It has the natural beauty created by the peach fruit sculpture, and the mysterious charm that makes you want to pick it up, wondering, "How are you making it?"

The peach seeds are made of very hard material, and once polished to give it a glossy look, it is a material that looks as beautiful as a gem, and the more you use it, the more it becomes more calm the texture.

In 1960, the first representative of Momo no Mikoto Kobo focused on the beauty of such materials and conducted many years of research to make use of them.The resulting works of Momo no Mikotobo were created.

By hand-cutting each piece, cutting, pasting, and carefully polishing, we have created an unparalleled, original "peach crafts."

This tea canister becomes more flavorful the longer you use it.

*Peach seeds are hand-cut and cut, lined, pasted, and carefully polished to finish. Because they are handmade and made from natural materials, each product may differ slightly in color and pattern.

To make it a long-lasting use

- Please avoid places exposed to direct sunlight or near heating appliances as they may deform.

- Please avoid washing with water.

-If it gets wet with tea, wipe off any moisture and then wipe it dry with a stove or something similar before using. The gloss gradually increases.
