Honaizen's Sashiko Fukin
This is a sashiko fukin made with genuine indigo dyed bleach.
- Hemp leaf pattern (medium navy blue) - A pattern that wards off evil spirits and wishes healthy growth for children. Hemp comes from being a fast-growing plant. It seems to have been used frequently in sashiko since ancient times.
- Persimmon flowers (dark blue) - is made from a stinger that creates a pattern by sewing them in one direction, vertically, horizontally, or diagonally with a constant needle. It seems that persimmon flowers have been used frequently since ancient times even among the sashimi. It has the meaning of warding off evil and insect repellent.
A traditional pattern that is stitched into Honaizen fabric and sewn by hand. You can also enjoy the changing colors as you use them.
